In the olden days which quickly get forgotten as soon as humans step foot in america, women learned the arts.Women's arts. Sewing, bread baking and so on. In France, men do that and are proud! I love France! I would retire there if they would all come with me.

Everywhere else pretty much women must learn these skills in order to feed their families.
I know how to cook on the cheap, I just like to cook on the delicious and food should be enjoyed just not so much that you can't walk though.

After years living here, in  Michigan, I can tell you that it is cold and winter just barely arrived.
I do not have to make cheese.
I do not have to console a crazy internet friend.
I do not have to pretend fairy tales are real and that I must abide by someone else's standards of what is socially correct.
I will speak my mind friends and yes, I am a coward when it comes to the  boss man standing there while I say words about the leadership style of my company. I will speak and ask the questions while being compliant because I am excellent at my job. leadership? They are not above reproach and they are always mad and furious driving the horses. I am a dog and dogs and horses, they get on pretty well. Till the dog nips too hard, no one likes being nipped at.
In my favorite book, "room on the broom", the dog says, "I am a dog, as keen as can be, is there room on the broom for a dog like me?"

Back to my point, making and doing quietly while mindfully working molding thinking things in to reality, is what it is about. make some cheese if you want to. make some soap if you dare.

I was just reading astrology forecasts to the stars and, they are all having a great year.

For me it has been super excellent as far as my growth and pain levels at the same time.

Sometimes, frankincense is slow to meld with all that other resinous material. They seem a little too tightly composed. He lossens things up that guy.

Years ago, Justine Crane gave me a bunch of floral waxes. I stowed them until I could hold them and see what comes from my hand and her generous spirit. That lady! And what a great year it will be for her!

There was orris, there was mimosa and pink lotus and then I had the last of the tuberose from 2002.

I melted everything, I added vetiver and frankincense and red mandarin oils to the soap cream.

Cold pressed olive oil from Italy and the best I can get! So delicious as a food as well as for its amazing possibilities to transform other botanicals in to safe usable material..

It is our best thing, olive oil. I love it!

In my opinion, which in my shallow little bubble way, and as I ponder on what is and what might come of it..we are all having a great 2019! 

okay I will leave you with this because it made an impression on me..would you rather burn all your bridges and be alone with your pride or do you understand that we all need to forgive each other and work together. ?? Maybe your pride hurts more people than the one person you are trying to teach a lesson..get off your high horse and be the lesson./

some money is not worth being made

I have said it before many times. Yes, I know money  money to be used and even mother teresa took mafia money to make her cheap hospitals but then she used the rest of the money to buy convents, nice ones too.
No, I do not want the sisters to suffer! I want etsy to have been better.
It was too. Such great memories, such amazing babes buying soap, potions and all that great stuff I make.
I cannot see how they will survive and the next thing you will see is a scattering of furniture dealers pretending they made that s**t. They didn't and they might be the only ones affording the fees.

I still have one soap up on the menu. It is because I want to direct you to what I am and what I make and no, do not buy from etsy. They are greedy mother****ers and you must not give them another dime..
I am not friends! That money is for my family not some unface on a screen being a little bitch!

I can honestly say, I have had some stellar  soap users! Two very awful ones out of thousands. The last one and it was just before this etsy mess, she was a jerk yo! I mean don't freeking buy it, what is your problem? I give her a refund before she the moment she asked! She got mad for some strange reason and the etsy sent her a shipping notice and after she got her money back, do you know I got another email saying she would refuse the product!

Like the lady who said I "rattled" off numbers..which were accurate so please do not cop that I am meaner than you! I can rattle in four languages, what is your story? Well I say, be fair. If there are hard working good people coming in yes, if there are thousands from thousands of miles walking and hitching rides and risking their lives crossing rivers and deserts to get here, I mean, Let them in, give them water and yes, they have to stay in a questioning area to make sure they are not sick with a bad bug that can wipe out millions! You worry about a frog in the swamps introduced, how about ebola, my friend? Does that sound like humanitarian. Those germs can come from somewhere..I mean germs in the most loose sense of the word, okay. I know they a virus..like the bird flu..how it spread like the wind because birds carried it on their journeys.

For my family, it took a long time before we could step foot in this country.
My cousin schooled me when we got here. It was 1968 and soon the riots in detroit started. We lived in Detroit for a year and then moved closer to the suburbs. In Detroit, we lived in a neighborhood with many other races who accepted each other. Mexican, Armenian and Greeks too. My first teacher was African American and she couldn't have been more kind and accepting of me.My mother still covered her head in public and  she made our home clean and safe. We lived in a duplex with Rita Kovlakas  and her family. They were southern Greek and yes, there is a difference. darker and more Turkish looking..well in all that hate, they managed to mix, how about that!

When we moved in the whiter part of town, things changed. I remember they made fun of us every day. I was chased home from school and they would take my hat, my wild greek hair flying all over the place while my tears of why would they do this, ran fast and hard. I always ran home, always.
My savior was Mrs, Scorice, my art teacher. I do not know what she saw in my but I loved her class, loved loved the work and the clean up and the supplies to play and create with. I passed on this trait to my two daughters who I couldn't be more proud of.

yesterday, I was supposed to have my money deposited in their bank or whatever it is. I made it so it would already be in my account before they could mess with it. They messed with it. Their computer just takes all the fees right up and I no longer have any sort of budget.
I am not broke, they just get my money before I do.
I do not know about you, but, a 14 dollar proffit is kind of pathetic seeing as that my products are above and beyond most out 800 thousand on etsy.
I have written them, as you may already know, in business, policy is policy.
Well, handcrafted means handcrafted.. I have pay pal and it is fine for now. That is if you'd like some nice beautiful  soap from me. I know you would!

It is very easy to just stop. You just stop. As a libra, I have been accused of flip flopping and taking too long. I do about certain aspects of my life. I overlook the water bill for example. It is always big because I clean a lot!

I am saying it is goddess time because each batch is so special. As it should be, yo! I am still going to do what I do..for me and you.

I did not make the aleppo soap yet because I still need laurel berry oil. It will come, like I said, Mercury retrograde is about fallen plans and having do without your desire right now..it is..roller blade on that! (smile)
I will make one last batch of old whore and then modify the menu so much that you may be surprised! I may be surprised.

I planned my orders and made creative beautiful things and sold on a platform that I thought was healthy for the ten years now.
I must say. They change all the time and calling themselves handmade products is stretching it. they are not all hand made.
They are now a bank which takes interest from hundreds of thousands of people like me.
Where they set out to gather handmade products at one place was great. Where they set out to grab every penny you earn staying there is dumb on my part.

I had these huge chunks of dragons blood that no mater what would not break up. I pounded them with a hammer and nothing. I soaked them in alcohol with all the bits and chunks from Old Whore jar I had saved over the year. It does get super concentrated on the sides of the glass, you see. There are bits I cannot ever scrape out because labdanum and oakmoss are so heavy in a blend.
Goddess but I love aromatherapy so much!
They had soaked for days these rocks of red crimson and then I threw it all in my fire with my heart and my mind focused on what I am and burning away attachments and anger.

As The Veil between worlds in my mind unfolds in the the shadows and I can see and feel the entire film of my being and at that point I give you some thing..something...I explore, I close my eyes and open my heart, I check and get close to make sure the oils are not too hot.
Of course I will focus on soap. It is what I do. Sometimes, there will awesome anointing oils. Please make one yourself. It is so easy. Classic is the way to go. let us attend.
There are those who prefer for  me to make them a blend. I will be happy to. I make what I love. It is the best way to live as an artist of scent.

I pay 7.20 to ship anything, I pack it well and stuff the box and you always get extra to make up for it.
