I work in the health field. I have for years now and well, I am considered the "culture" of a by gone era in health foods and good eating.
We always get the crazies and the ones who need labels, (vegan a biggie, paleo, non meat non binary pig knuckles but not pig knuckles really...)
ha ha

We get the sick ones too. The ones who can't sleep, the ones trying to get off the Halcion or Ambien or the rest of the soothing take you out pills that make your life just a little more bearable. They also make you constipated so that the fiber market is very rich.

The cancer..the ones who have cancer and you see them for years struggling to do their thing, it effects your day sometimes!
She has been coming for years. It started with a sore on her forehead and I was like why is she not doing something about that? No she likes to walk with her fancy church clothes passing around scarry booklets on how bad hell is unless you get God in  your life..yes sir..I say nothing of course and I know it  was cancer but now it is the worst face cancer I ever saw in real life. She can barely speak but she will not let them work on her. She is praying.
Also she has no money to speak of but a whole shit ton of fancy church outfits.
There are modern methods to take care of these things if you go early on..now with a baseball side swelling on her face they cannot remove it instead they can do radiation to shrink I..sigh
I told her to put lavender on it and treat her face like a burn.

I told here that at Johns Hopkins they have new methods she might be willing to explore.
"no, I will trust in God." She was holding her face while she said it and I told her what to do with the lavender.

I usually take July off and sell through the soap because I love fresh soap and if it goes a year with like one or two left, I toss it. It is hard because essential oils are not cheap. Prices have gone up and this has led me to modify my desires for say four ounces of yuzu which is like 200 easy!

The New Moon

I know there are people that will not bother. I will tell them about salt scrubs and they will not even consider making one. They would rather buy that Alba crap and smell like a fake hawaiian! LOL

I think they bought out Rachel Perry products from the 70's and just made new labels and added more chemicals to you know, stabilize, smooth out and give you that fake softness you can only get from their fake ass chemical scrubs..:)

SALT 1 cup

HONEY 2 tbsp

OG COCONUT OIL about  1-2 tbsp give or take

LIME MANDARIN OILS ten drops each more if you are me

add just enough cool coconut oil to make a paste with the salt and honey. You do not want oil floating because it is too goopy and drippy. Add your essential  oils and mix thoroughly..
Keep this in a cool dry place so that you can easily scoop a palm full and go at it.

We will see if I want to buy new jars just for this..I will maybe offer this on the web site.
I have a beautiful mandarin oil and the lime oil here is organic.

Merc retrograde can bring up some weird  things from the past. It is true. Way in the past and there are things you have forgotten and forgiven and yet some old hurts may come up and tickle your bitterness. Events shared about family and friends will come up. Some good, some bad.
Every one of them has gotten older and wiser I hope.

For me it has been a very busy time as usual. The garden has taken most of my summer. I have about a half acre and it grows lush and fast in summer. I realise what things I want to do next year and I am happy.
Every year has been an adventure, honestly! This year the dahlias are stars and the daisies which seem to be in flower all season. I got them from Anita, a customer who does not call me every day but loves some of my exotic plants. My wild geraniums which I only have maybe four varieties, zdravets being one..so strong and healing! Geranium oil by the way for poison ivy, gentle.


Yesterday a customer came in and was , he said, bitten by mites while cleaning his gutters and he came with his mom  or sister. Clearly OCD and freaked about bugs eating him. He later came in to thank me for my time and that it meant a lot to him.

I gave him 2 remedies, thanks to my Tonie!
